Close to the Rodeo grounds, lots great events like the Summertime Bluegrass Festival. Glad to say its beautiful and clean. Great friendly helpful owners.
We stayed at this motel in July 2025. The room was spotless and very comfortable. We have stayed in motels all across Canada while holidaying on our bike over the years and this motel is now our favorite. The owners are wonderful and we will definitely be back.
Stayed here for the Falkland Stampede weekend. Clean, very friendly management, quiet despite being close to the highway. Highly recommended.
Want to thank Val for providing such a cool little roadside motel. Reminds me of the good old days when life was slower. The room was cute and spotless and had everything you would need for a comfy stay. Falkland is quiet at night. My wife and I slept like stones. We can't thank Val and her husband enough. We will be back for sure!!!
What an absolutely lovely place to stay! Such wonderfully inviting touches! From the ladybug in the tree to the dog- friendly atmosphere, and the wonderfully deep tub and beautiful vanity in the bathroom. The simple, yet caring and thoughtful touch of the chille glasses in the fridge was appreciated too! The in room coffee on offer is a better selection than I get in more expensive, big chain hotels. I am dead impressed and look forward to my next stay when I'm in town on business. Thank you so much!
Phoned the motel for a room, while traveling through on a road trip and grateful they were able to accommodate us and the dog. What a pleasant surprise when we found an impeccably clean, comfy room and comfortable bed. It was the best sleep we had on our entire trip. Enjoyed a coffee from the Keurig and the view. We ll be back!
I have a friend that stayed here for 4 years and the landlord Larry didn't return his damage deposit stating that the place wasn't up to his standards after we cleaned the walls, baseboards as well as many other things. I was there and helped and I have ocd so that place was in pristine shape. He only received half of his damage deposit backs landlord said he would have to be cleaned, however the landlord tenancy says that renting that long it was deemed to be normal wear and tear. I would advise anyone staying here for a extended period is beware of this slumlord, being a motel there shouldn't be a damage deposit charged (landlord tenancy act says ) After we left the slumlord phoned and accused my friend of stealing his TV as it was removed 4 years ago to allow my friend to use his own TV. I would not recommend this place because this landlord doesn't follow any of the guidelines by the landlord tenancy act.
We loved the room. It was cozy and met our needs. But most of all we loved the greeting we got from the owners. Amazing people! And Tux the dog, most cutest little guy ever. We will definitely be stopping by here again.
